Aaaahhh, day 3 of blogging, I think I finally got the hang of this.  Came across some interesting information, the other day(by chance), found out my daughter's school is starting a cluster program.  This will be perfect for her(and hopefully other's), however I would not know this because it's not going to be advertised, if not for word of mouth.  Word of mouth is a powerful thing

Good Morning! Looking to see if anyone has any information for extra assistance(special classes, etc), that I can look into, to help my daughter with her developmental delay. Have a great day!

Hi Everyone! I am new to blogging, I am starting here in hopes of creating a wonderful way to share information, and even get some ideas.  My 8 year old daughter has developmental delay, I have been looking for assistance for her for a few years now, in hopes of getting any additional help for her.  I have applied everywhere from State funding, to school assistance.  What I keep running into is wall after wall.  She does not have any medical issues, therefore she is deemed ineligible for these services that could greatly benefit her!  The other half of the issue, is when services do become available, I am the last one to know! It seems that it's a big secret, when this information should be readily available! Sound off to me, if you're running into this, while looking for some much needed help!
